Set in 1850 Oregon, the backs woodsman, Adam Pontipee is impressed by the feminine and wifely qualities of a local girl, Milly Bradon. They marry and soon she finds herself amongst a group of rough-around-the-edges brothers-in-law that need refining and education when it comes to finding wives of their own. Altogether, it proves to be a fun and interesting route they take to find the women that fit the bill for all these brothers!
